S-Series
Jump and Pony and Smaller Saddles
Standard Wither
Changeable Gullet 'S' Bar

A jump saddle for ponies, the S-Series Pony Jump has forward-cut flaps, plus moveable blocks, designed to support the young rider’s leg in the shorter jumping position. This may look similar to the S-Series Jump saddle, but it is on a different tree - more suited to a pony conformation - and takes a different gullet bar.

  • A pony tree with longer, swept-back points to support the front of the saddle and allow freer shoulder movement.
  • A seat shaped to enable the rider to dynamically adjust their centre of balance over the fence.
  • Broad panels for maximum surface contact with the pony’s back.
  • Velcro knee and calf blocks under the flap which can be positioned to suit your leg length and position.
  • Changeable girthing arrangement which allows saddle stability to be optimised for various types of pony conformation and different movement.
Girthing Information

The Kent & Masters Pony Jump Saddle is fitted with three girth straps (billets), the third one being moveable.
This flexible girthing arrangement allows saddle stability to be optimised instantly.

Kent and Masters S-Series Pony Jump Girthing - Neutral

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billet.
(NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)

Kent and Masters S-Series Pony Jump Girthing - Point and Third

If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use the point (front) strap and the third strap

Kent and Masters S-Series Pony Jump Girthing - First and Fourth

If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, use the point (front) strap and the floating balance position (4)

Kent and Masters S-Series Pony Jump Girthing - Do not

NEVER girth using the point strap and first strap. This causes saddle instability and potential discomfort for your horse.

Moveable Knee & Thigh Block
This saddle has two moveable Velcro blocks that can be adjusted to suit the leg support your need. If you prefer to ride with shorter stirrups, or have short legs, position the knee block higher up.
